Are You Ready to Pivot?
Last Thursday morning in prayer time, I sensed that we are to be prepared for a pivot coming and that it is important how we position ourselves. We need to be intentional in that positioning. Intentionality is a crucial thing.
Be intentional about seeking the Lord. Be intentional about loving our spouses, our family, and our friends. I want to encourage you to seek the Lord first when planning your day by asking God what he wants you to do.
So, how do we position ourselves?
We must intentionally draw close to the Lord daily and all day long. As we enter 2023, I believe Psalm 23 will be an important scripture to meditate on. The Shepherd will lead us and protect us. There will be turbulence, but we won’t fear it because we are in right relationship with the Shepherd. As we position ourselves properly, we will be able to nimbly move when the Lord says, “now.”
In the preparation, we must be intentional in getting to know the LORD better. The time of preparation tests us…in our hearts, mind, and character. It prepares us for the moment, and there WILL be a moment when God says, “NOW! This is that which I spoke of.”
Position yourself for the pivot!! Be in prayer all day long, pray in the Spirit, and ground yourself in the Word. You need to be able to discern so you know the counterfeit from the actual time (to pivot). Refrain from settling for the good when the best is just around the corner. Perseverance is key!!
