Do You Genuinely Trust Him?
To what level do we truly trust God?
You can’t help but think of Abraham and the level of trust needed to leave his Father’s home and go to a land he didn’t know.
Abraham moved on trust when he heard the Father’s voice. He responded immediately.
Do we do that today?
The topic of self-doubt has come up recently. Self-doubt paralyzes us and causes us to miss joy and freedom. When we truly trust God (Romans 8:28), nothing can separate us from His love; then why do we fear and doubt so much?
Why are there depression, anxiety, and fear?
If He is for us and not against us, if He has called and chosen us, and if we belong to Him, nothing should cause us to miss out.
There is so much God wants us to do and so many people we need to minister to. But we talk ourselves out of moving to action.
Trust without borders. The Lord told Abraham to do this. And he did.
There are times Abraham certainly may have questioned.
But he still moved.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had that same type of trust. They went into the fire, KNOWING God was with them.
Many things cause us not to trust.
But belief and faith allow us to inherit His Kingdom.
Trust.
We are taught,
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
Do we genuinely believe that?
Our jobs, our friendships, our finances…do we take them to God?
To what level are we willing to bring them to Him?
He is who He says He is, and I believe that.
The Kingdom of God is worth us selling everything we have, changing everything we do, and serving Him.
Will we trust, believe and act?
We don’t want self-doubt and apprehension in our lives anymore. Let’s trust Him and, even more, encourage one another in that act.
