God’s Kingdom is Unshakable!
How do we continue to hold that feeling (of unshakable goodness) in all seasons?
Hebrews 12:27 guides us,
“Now this [expression], “Yet once more,” indicates the removal and final transformation of all those things which can be shaken—that is, of that which has been created—so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, and offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship with reverence and awe;.”
We, of course, build things with our hands and our minds that won’t remain. But the fruits of the Spirit will remain.
We serve a Kingdom that we should show gratitude and awe towards. Because the things of God will last, we want those things that are “as it is in Heaven.” We should want to produce fruit that will remain beyond us and have generational significance. To do that, you must put your trust fully in the Lord.
Psalm 91 reiterates this (amplified version)
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!” For He will save you from the trap of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence.”
How do you reach the point that you trust God no matter what and run after opportunities?
The song Oceans reminds us to trust without borders. Times of crisis have both danger and opportunity in them. And we are living in times of crisis. Favor is birthed during crisis.
Will you take the opportunity or fall victim to the danger?
Yes, you have to recognize the danger and give it to God. We must ask Him if we are to take the opportunity. Revere and honor Him, but put your trust in Him as well. Reflect on the verses above daily.
To honestly KNOW that His Kingdom is unshakable, you must dig into the Word daily, seek Him out, and learn. Gain knowledge of the complete picture, and seek a relationship with Him. You can’t remove any of God’s history to fully understand His Kingdom with awe and reverence.
Keep in mind that the enemy will try to remove the history of His Kingdom. But In Joshua 1:8, we are reminded to meditate on the Word day and night. It’s then that we prosper.
I’ve been reflecting on what Shema means. It’s shared in (Deuteronomy) and was meant to be spoken day and night. “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
When you follow this guidance, you will begin to grow in your faith and prosperity. When we take our eyes off this, we start to look away and be shaken.
Matthew 6:33 is yet another reminder to seek God FIRST.
When we don’t move ahead in that order, we falter.
God’s mission is the redemption of humanity. He sent His son to remind us that we are to be a part of His Kingdom and to rely 100 percent on Him. Are you doing that?
Will you stand unshakable as part of the body of Christ?
